Design Solution
The form, materials and relationship to the original house were carefully considered before developing a design solution that would retain the character of the original 1850s house while providing suitable additional bedrooms and bathrooms to meet clients needs.
Outcome
After reducing planning risk by aligning the design with green belt planning policy, planning consent was granted and we could proceed with detailed drawings for construction and Building Regulations approval.
